Our Founder
Ashlea Wood-Adams
Ashlea Wood-Adams is a Nashville, Tennessee native, born and raised in the heart of the city. Growing up in a family deeply rooted in entrepreneurship, with a third-generation-owned soul food restaurant on her mother's side and a third-generation pediatric dental practice on her father's side, it became clear that entrepreneurship was woven into her DNA.

Ashlea's journey into entrepreneurship began through hands-on experience, supporting her family's businesses and other small enterprises. This experience gave her invaluable insights into the challenges and obstacles that entrepreneurs and business owners face. But she also witnessed the profound impact these businesses had on their communities. They didn't just provide products or services; they offered hope, smiles, trust, homes, opportunities, love, and a sense of family.

As her life evolved, Ashlea emerged as a dedicated resource and advocate for small businesses, both within her family and her community. TBO (Technically Better Operations) was born out of her recognition of small businesses and their owners' vital role in our society.

Outside of work, Ashlea finds joy in spending quality time with her children, husband, and extended family. She's also an avid traveler, often exploring new destinations with friends, enriching her collection of diverse life experiences.
